Dosimetry for Cell Irradiation using Orthovoltage (40-300 kV) X-Ray Facilities

چکیده

The importance of dosimetry protocols and standards for radiobiological studies is self-evident. Several have been proposed dose determination using low energy X-ray facilities, but depending on the irradiation configurations, samples, materials or beam quality, it sometimes difficult to know which protocol most appropriate employ. We, therefore, propose a cell irradiations facility. aim this method perform estimation at level monolayer make as close possible real conditions. different steps are follows: parameters (high voltage, intensity, container etc.), quality index voltage-half value layer couple), rate measurement with ionization chamber calibrated in air kerma conditions, quantification attenuation scattering culture medium EBT3 radiochromic films, cellular level. This methodology must be performed each new configuration modification only one parameter can strongly impact deposition monolayer, particularly involving X-rays.
